Full Recovery Service - In some cases if your machine starts running slow it may need a full system re-installation. If a re-installation is required we will always back up your data before we continue. Once the data has been backed up the re-installation can be carried out safely. Wireless - We will set up all your wireless devices and configure the security settings so that only authorised users can access your network/Internet.

 

If you have wires running across your floor or down the stairs you may want to install a wireless router. The wireless router can be installed by any phone line (or cable if you are with virgin media) and then configured so that you can access the Internet wirelessly.

 

By configuring the security settings in your router no-one else can log on to your network.

 

All routers have two usernames and passwords, the first is to guard against access to the router and the second is to guard against access to the network/Internet.

 

Most people set the password to access the network/Internet but the username and password to access the router are sometimes left as the default.

 

Default username and passwords for routers are easily found on the Internet so if you haven’t changed it you could have people logging into your router. Once they are in your router they can use your Internet or even worse they could stop your router from working.

Problem Solving - If you have been trying to achieve a goal with your computer but just can’t get it to do what you want then we can help.

 

• Send us an e-mail with the details of your problem and we will be able to suggest some simple steps to get you working correctly.
• A service call may be required for the more complex problems but if we can’t get it working then we won’t charge you.

intermittent Faults - We deal with intermittent faults differently. We will always try the cheapest solution first if we genuinely believe that it may fix the fault. If the fault re-occurs at a later stage then we will call back at no extra charge; we will not switch our phones off and pretend that you don’t exist once we have your money!
